How the RUT deduction works
The RUT deduction means that you as a private individual can deduct 50% of the labor cost for domestic services, directly on the invoice. In other words, you only pay half the price - the Tax Agency pays the rest directly to us.
Who is entitled to the RUT deduction?
- All private individuals who are registered in Sweden and pay income tax
- The RUT deduction applies to work carried out in your home (home cleaning, removal cleaning, window cleaning, etc.)
- Maximum amount: SEK 75 000 per person per year (2026)
- You and your partner can both claim the deduction - up to SEK 150,000 per household
How to calculate your cost
The formula is simple: Regular hourly rate × number of hours ÷ 2 = Your cost
Example: Home cleaning 3 hours → 278 SEK × 3 = 834 SEK → after RUT: 417 kr

Are materials and cleaning products included in the price?
Yes, we bring all the cleaning products and materials needed. You do not need to buy anything extra. If you have specific product requests (e.g. eco-friendly or hypoallergenic), we are happy to adapt.
How long does a home cleaning take?
It depends on the size and condition of the property. An apartment of 50-70 m² usually takes 2-2.5 hours. We always give an estimate before we start.
Are there additional costs I should be aware of?
No, we have no hidden fees. The price is based on the number of hours × hourly rate. Travel, materials and VAT are included. The RUT deduction is deducted directly from the invoice.
Can I get a fixed quote instead of an hourly rate?
Yes, for services such as removal cleaning and deep cleaning, we can provide a fixed quote based on the size of the property. Contact us for a free quote.
How do I pay?
You will receive an invoice by email after the work has been completed. Payment is made by bank transfer or Swish. The RUT deduction has already been deducted from the invoice.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellation is free of charge if made at least 24 hours before the booked time. In case of late cancellation, a fee corresponding to 1 hour of work will be charged.
